My work shows that I am constantly within the process of self-quest. Visual elements of my work are mostly taken from my surrounding. Coming from an urban city, nature of Santiniketan has mesmerized me, for which the colours I chose for my compositions are strongly influenced from nature.
I work with mixed medium, etching, emboss, stop motion, videography etc. In every medium, playing with forms, shapes, patterns and creating visual balance with them are one of the important element to my work, which helps me to show the spontaneity and unpredictability of life. Along with many technical aspects, adding emotional content to my work plays a very important role. With a minimalized approach and symbols, I try to show the complexities of human nature, where I mostly project self-observation and personal experience.
