Sandipan Acharjee
Artist Sandipan Acharjee, hailing from Kalyani, West Bengal, is a talented artist known for his unique approach to art. He has received vocational training in Commercial art and has showcased his work in various exhibitions across India. Acharjee's art reflects his personal experiences as a worker, with a focus on the use of thread as a metaphorical tool of existence and hope. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he found solace and meditation in embroidery, drawing inspiration from memories of his mother stitching school clothes to support their family. Acharjee's work beautifully weaves together past memories and present life scenarios, showcasing his talent and creativity. He currently resides and works in Kalyani, West Bengal.
