Everything is art, and I see art in everything. Some of it is beautiful to me, some disturbing. But I do like to perceive beauty in art, as it makes all that surrounds me more appealing. I tend to observe nature and everyday surroundings more keenly, as I find them interesting and relatable to manifest into my art. My subject matters vary from environmental stress on nature and animals to tension amongst people and population growth. While I work mainly with stone and wood, I also utilise other materials imbued with equal meaning. For instance, I have always followed rules and regulations throughout my life — this, in my art, could be depicted via a rope, binding and controlling a subject and speaking on the various aspects of control in my life.
