Etching the influence of money in human life

It was from the very start of my artistic journey that I was interested in drawing. Eventually, I chose printmaking as my subject of learning, and began to transfer drawings into etchings, preferably in black and white, with minute details. In my view, the composition of an image is a very important element in producing interesting artwork. My compositions are typically simple, with details that create interest in a viewer. I try to use the appropriate elements to represent my subject matter and render an image using lines and dots.
At its core, my work shows the role of money in common people’s lives — how they depend on their daily wages and grapple with different work for their livelihood. I depict the idea of how money plays an important role in one’s life depending on the situation, and how one is connected to this phenomenon. At the same time, my art also represents my own experiences, such as that of the quality of life of the middle class and changing priorities based on financial situations. All these scenes are portrayed in a naturalistic way in my artworks.
