The artist Dipak, coming from a middle-class farmer family, shares their personal experiences and understanding of the challenges faced by farmers in society through their Shetambari series. The artworks focus on the essential connection between farming and human life, showcasing the dualities of a farmer's life with both happiness and sadness. Through acrylic on canvas, the artist captures the struggles and resilience of farmers, highlighting their vital role in society. The artwork serves as a commentary on the current condition of farmers and their perseverance in the face of challenges. Dipak is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in visual arts and has had a successful solo exhibition titled "Shetambari" at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.
