My artwork reflects a surrealistic and creative approach to ‘the crowd’, relating social issues via experiments with form and the symbolism that comes to my imagination. I like to work with varied surfaces and materials — such as adding sound boxes, pipes or 'bhopus' to paintings. Thus, the subject matter sometimes gets a figurative form. I experiment with varied raw materials, paintings, watercolor on different surfaces, paper board, ply board, drawing on different types of paper charcoal, clay sculpture, cyanotype technique related photography, site specific/site responding artwork, sound art, video art and more. Conceptually, my art looks at the facts of everyday life — common people leading their lives in my surroundings, natural animal life, changing rural areas, urbanization, garbage, pollution, migration, the altering environment and how social status tackles these issues, etc. Such are the themes that inspire my artistry, so that I can present contemporary emotions related to them. My ideology is to present rural life and urban life comparatively with human life and animal life. Animal life is a very important motif in my work. I intend to continue with this subject matter and develop a series of works where I look at their intersections with the human.
