Any object, situation or experience from daily life that gets stuck in my memory â it finds a way into my present body of art, which I like to describe as âsurroundings-relatedâ. By this, I mean that I like to gauge the character, form, functionality and structure of objects and keeping these in mind, try to observe the next objects in relation to the previous ones. While these components are all different in nature, somehow, they get arranged together in my compositions â finding their way into a single space after I modify and combine their objectivity. By putting such everyday experiences in one habitat, my art also creates a new relation between them. This whole process of arrangements is to consciously imagine reality and transfer it to a state of semi-surrealism â thus inhabiting two objects of different sources in one dimension.
