Arindam Pal

My artistic passion stems from my drawing of elaborate Alpanas during various pujas which was a mainstay in the traditional joint so-called Banedi family I grew up in my ancestral house.Far removed from that glorious childhood, now , disintegrated into nuclear families confined to minuscule flats, my longing and my isolation have found expression in my art. Thus, my art focuses on the obliteration of tradition in favour of the 'modern,' which is emblematic of broader societal shifts. I aspire to articulate visual narratives through the innovative employment of traditional colors, charcoal, and pencils. After completing my master's in art education, I aspire to nurture and advance my craft within the auspices of Abir India.
