My art explores tranquillity through an inward journey, based on the philosophy of mysticism. My everyday life, struggles, and interests are always at the core of my imagination, influencing my artworks. I have found painting to be my medium of communication and self-discovery.
My artwork enables me to be aware of my own existence. In simple terms, I describe my art as a "Circle of Life," but it is philosophically very complex. We all find our place on the mind map somewhere within the circle of life. This circle has a large circumference on which the polarities of minimalism, spiritualism, existentialism, empiricism, materialism, rationalism, and essentialism fall. Every person tries to find peace by shifting the center of gravity according to his or her life's calling. The center of life is much more dynamic, whereas the circumference is relatively static. It depends on us where we want to place ourselves in this 'Circle of life'. This philosophy also applies to art, and it is up to the artist to implement it.
