Collection: Rokesh Patil

Rokesh Patil, an artist from the Koli community, specializes in painting, printing, and sculpture. His work often incorporates elements of the sea, focusing on local inhabitants, fish, waves, boats, and water. Currently, he is working on a series of sculptures where he submerges miniature boats in deep water for several months to observe the natural processes that occur when larger boats sink to the bottom of the sea. Patil displays his sculptures at the seashore, allowing anyone to see them depending on the tides.
