I am working on reflections and influences of the surroundings, society on thyself in which she tries to comes out of it and explore a new world. As I was more influenced and inspired by the plato’s philosophical theories. One of his concept of “ Plato’s Simili of Cave” inspires me a lot and it co-relates more with my ideologies and current existing people in the society and its reflections. I choose my self idioms to portray different postures, self-manneristic behaviours, attitudes of a human being. “ what you see is not real” is the main ideology behind my work. I try to portray it in my work through multiple gestures and its characteristics. As seeing comes before words.It is seeing which establishes our place in the surrounding world. The relation between what we see and what we know is never settled.The way we see things is affected by what we know and what we believe. I choose mirror to each image to convey the one’s own self expression. Sometimes , I try to collaborate different mediums together in my work based on the particular idiom characteristics.
