This work is inspired from the poetry ‘Sleeper in the Valley’ by Arthur Rimbaud. The
poem talks about death in a melancholic yet romantic manner. I have symbolized the
melancholy with the bee-hive like structure. The bed beneath symbolizes our very
insignificant presence amidst the larger scheme of things.
